The National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) is a long term commitment by the Australian Government to investors prepared to build affordable rental housing.
NRAS provides a substantial cash or annual tax-free incentive, called the NRAS Incentive, to the business sector and community organisations who build and rent dwellings to low and moderate income households at a rate that is a least 20 per cent below the prevailing market rate.
